Process

For a detailed view of our process, have a look at our slideshow. We conducted collaboration sessions between Goodwill and SCAD to increase buy-in and also to unleash the expertise of both Goodwill and SCAD's person in charge. The work we did was to develop working solutions while providing our reasons for suggesting all our strategies.

Role

The role I played in this project was providing initial leadership to move the team forward, work with some team members to compile data and understand stakeholders needs, craft personas based on both primary and secondary data, craft storyboard visuals, and craft workable and realistic concepts/solutions with the team.

Deliverable

The project was eventually presented to the Goodwill of the Coastal Empire Board of Directors after approval from key SCAD personnel. In case you missed it, click here for the complete slideshow! Since the first pilot project, the 1st Goodwill and SCAD, Cause and Effect project collected a total of 41,675lbs total pounds of donations, including 10,418.75lbs and 31,256.25lbs of both recycled and resale material respectively. The SCAD donation drive hence supports Goodwill's Mission by providing 9,975 hours of Career Counseling and 3,764 hours of job training.
